Recycled Plastic Soap Dish - The Stacy

The Stacy recycled plastic soap dish.
This blend of plastics has been put together by my friend Stacy whilst helping out at the workshop in the summer. This is made out of HDPE plastic, so think Vanish pink bottles, mixed with Nesquik milkshake yellow tubs, orange bleach bottles and lots in between.

Whilst the Zig Zag is stunning, it was chosen for practical reasons too. This shape will hold the soap above the draining water, keeping it as dry as possible, and ensuring the soap lasts.

The plastic melts slightly differently to the product pictures and creates a beautiful ripple effect.

Each soap dish is equivalent to approximately 2 large milk bottles and the lids worth of plastic.
